The PFP repertoire
It’s been so long we’ve almost lost track on when
was the last time Pink Floyd visited Denmark. The band
performed at the giant sports venue “Parken” in 1994
as part of their “The Division Bell Tour”. An
extract from the tour was released in 1995 on the
double live CD “Pulse”.
Come summer 2002, and the newly formed The
Pink Floyd Project (PFP) decided to reproduce
the entire concert from beginning to an end. Almost
3 hours of songs from throughout the Floyd’s career:
From their first album, “The Piper at the Gates of
Dawn” (1967) to their last studio release, “The
Division Bell” (1994). Since then The Pink Floyd
Project’s repertoire has ballooned with at least
five additional hours of music. All the hits are
there as well as an impressive selection of oddities
for the real connoisseurs. What kind of show does
that make for? Well, anything is possible:
Frequently a PFP show features an entire album
played with remarkable authenticity. Sometimes you
get a “greatest hits evening” and once in a while
you’ll be hearing Floyd tunes that you barely knew
existed.
The 10 band members all enjoy playing the Pink
evergreens. The intense atmosphere and the famous
Pink Floyd sound are both being resurrected by a
band positively sparkling with joy, commitment and
musicality.
The repertoire list is constantly evolving and
The Pink Floyd Project now has this considerable bag
of songs to choose from:
Every single song from Pink Floyds 1980/81
